How to Forward Emails in Apple Mail
Forward suspicious emails to us for a free scam check.
Apple Mail on Mac
Open the suspicious email
In the Mail app, click on the email you want us to check.
Don't click any links or buttons inside the email — just open it so you can forward it. If you're unsure, stop and come back to it later.
Click the Forward arrow
Click the forward arrow button in Mail's toolbar (or go to Message > Forward, or press Shift+Cmd+F).
This is a button in Apple Mail's interface, not inside the suspicious email.
Enter our email address
In the "To" field, type check@scam.support
Click Send
Click the Send button (the paper plane icon). You will receive a risk assessment reply within about 60 seconds.
Apple Mail on iPhone / iPad
Open the suspicious email
In the Mail app, tap the email you want us to check.
Don't tap any links or buttons inside the email — just open it so you can forward it. If you're unsure, stop and come back to it later.
Tap the Reply arrow
Tap the reply arrow at the bottom of the screen (curved arrow icon).
Select "Forward"
From the menu that appears, tap "Forward."
This is a button in Mail's interface, not inside the suspicious email.
Enter our email address
In the "To" field, type check@scam.support
Tap Send
Tap the blue send arrow in the top-right corner. You will receive a risk assessment reply within about 60 seconds.
Tip
On iPhone and iPad, you can also press and hold the reply arrow to go directly to the Forward option without opening the menu first.
